I am a Ph.D. candidate in Information Science at the University of Michigan School of Information, advised by Yan Chen, Qiaozhu Mei, and Alain Cohn. I study how to turn swarms of AI agents into effective organizations, and how to keep human and AI judges from rewarding hype over substance. I am currently a Frontier Agents research intern at Together AI, where I study how different ways of organizing agent swarms affect how effectively LLM agents work together, including how agents evaluate one another’s work and how they perform in strategic settings. Previously, I was a research intern at Microsoft Research (Economics and Computation).

My other work examines how social media promotion influences job market outcomes through a field experiment (PNAS 2026), and develops LLM-based measurement methods, such as a counterfactual framework for measuring rhetorical style (ICLR 2026). My research combines field and lab experiments, causal inference, and LLM-based measurement, so that claims about what AI systems do can be tested rather than assumed. I received a B.A. from Duke University and a B.Econ. from Duke Kunshan University.
